Insert Molding:
Allowing a metal insert to be encapsulated into a part in one operation
for improved product structure and increased strength.
Sonic / Heat Insertion:
Secondary process used to press metal inserts into molded openings in
plastic parts. Typically used with threaded inserts when additional strength
is needed in the finished product.
